This week's news

The 1st XV welcomed Hertford to Broadwater last Saturday and started brightly, testing the visitors and maintaining a solid defense. The deadlock was broken just after the half-hour mark, Hertford scoring and converting to take the lead but Guildford hit back quickly to stay in touch. Hertford scored on the stroke of half time but could not convert, and despite sustained attack Guildford couldn’t pull ahead with the score at the final whistle being 15-22 to the visitors. The 3rd XV struggled to contain Farnham 3rd XV in their away game, keeping a good shape against the league-leaders but ruing a drop in concentration that led to the home side scoring three quick tries on the bounce.

There is somehing for everyone at the club this weekend!
