U14s Waterfall Cup - Semi-Final

The U14s travelled last Sunday to a chilly Chobham for their Waterfall Cup Semi-final. The team demonstrated the ferocious defence that we have become accustomed to seeing and defended their own line under relentless pressure for the first 10 minutes of the game. There was very little in it against a well drilled Chobham side and the first half ended 0-0.

With the benefit of the slope in the second half we were able to assert a greater degree of control over the game and edged ahead with a converted try. We were then awarded a penalty and for the first time for this group of players elected to kick at goal. The attempt was successful. Despite getting very close on at least three other occasions there were no further scores and we won 10-0.

This was again a tremendous squad performance with everyone available on the day playing at least a half. We look forward to playing London Welsh in the final. The match was played in a great competitive spirit by both sides and we thank Chobham for their hospitality in rounding off a great morning.
