Mini’s End of Season Awards 2018/19

Wow – what a season it has been for the Minis. Some great fixtures, festivals and joint training across the county including at prestigious clubs such as London Irish, Dorking and many others.

At every level, team players, coaches, first aiders and administrators have pulled together to support their teams and were recognised at a fun filled awards day organised by the U11 team. After pitch side recognition, players were treated to a magic show by Theo the Magician and then the individuals for the Coaches Player of the Season Awards from each age group received their awards in front of the rest of the Minis section.

These final presentations were made even more special by the awards being presented by Max and Thom Evans, ex Scottish International rugby stars, who took the time to talk with many of the young players and parents. Both are truly inspirational individuals keen on passing the baton to the next generation, having received so much from the sport themselves.
