Youth Rugby - Under 13's - 2011/12

Welcome to Guildford Rugby Under 13s and the move into youth rugby –

15 a-side and 25 minutes each way on full sized pitches.

We have entered three squads into the leagues this season with an extensive programme of league and non-league fixtures.  The A squad will be playing in Surrey League 1, the B squad in Surrey League 4 and the C squad in Surrey League 6.  There will be plenty of competitive non-league fixtures for any players not in the C squad.  We are planning a tour in late November to the Gloucester area for some rugby and team building.

Training occurs on Wednesday evenings from 7:15 pm to 8:30 pm at the club and on Sundays from 10 am to 12 pm when the fixtures are typically scheduled, though some home training sessions or fixtures may be planned at the Surrey Sports Park.  Through our team of RFU qualified coaches and structured coaching sessions we aim to fully develop and improve our players’ rugby skills.

Guildford Rugby offers the most competitive and comprehensive rugby experience for players at U13 in Guildford and the surrounding area while maintaining the fun and enjoyment of the game for all concerned.  We are keen to continue to build our squad and we welcome new players and their parents to the club.

Joint head coaches for season 2011/12 are Simon Rhodes and Kevin Lomas.
