General Information

The Guildford Gazelles are the women's and girls, rugby playing section of Guildford Rugby Club. The Women's Section was formed 5 years ago mainly from players new to the sport and has continued to develop and thrive ever since, the Youth section is growing rapidly and is now entering it's forth year.

All teams are now represented by a wide variety of players from absolute beginners to ex-premiership however all share a common goal; to enjoy playing rugby and being part of a team of like minded people.
For those who enjoy the more social aspects of belonging to a rugby club, the Gazelles social team organise events throughout the year including a tour at the end of the season.

Guildford Gazelles are also proud to be sponsored by Farenheit 55 - Milkgate House, Guildford.

Who can join ?

Everyone is welcome along to The Gazelles to try their hand at rugby regardless of playing experience, fitness levels or rugby knowledge. Our Senior Section now enables serious players to develop their game whilst also allowing the newer or social players to participate in a more relaxed environment. Guildford Gazelles Youth (U18) is now in their third year, with the U14 Youth Squad in their second season, it's a great time for anyone wishing to take up rugby to come along and try it.

New Players- Don't be nervous -come along and give us a try! New players are the life-blood of any team but we understand that it can be nerve wracking to join a new Club, let alone start a new sport! To help you, once you've contacted us you will join a mini-team of players who will make sure that you are welcomed and mentored during your first few weeks at Guildford to ensure that you relax and enjoy being part of this fantastic team and sport!
